Recomment Key Vendor
Greetings all,
I have purchased a 2005 GS300 with a single master key and I would like to acquire a spare one. I have perused the different fora and if my understanding is correct, I do not have to get a key from a Lexus dealer, but purchase a blank copy, have a local locksmith cut it, and I can re-program the transmitter myself.
I have also perused different vendors, e-bay, ikeyless.com, keylessride.com, amazon.com, but what concerns me is that the prices vary significantly. Thus, I was wondering is someone who went this route could recommend a reliable vendor.
Second, are the following instructions valid:

Second, are the following instructions valid:
- Make sure all doors and windows are now closed.
- Insert master key into the ignition cylinder and leave it in the OFF position.
- Cycle the ignition cylinder from ON to OFF five times.
- OPEN and CLOSE the Driver Side Door 6 times.
- Remove the Master Key and insert the new Duplicate Key.
- TURN THE IGNITION CYLINDER ON.
- The new key will be registered after 60 seconds. The THEFT light on the dashboard will go out, indicating that programming has been completed.

Hi MRANCING,
thank you for the reply, I have found https://www.luxiousauto.com/, but their web-side is under construction. Do you have a contact? How much did you pay if I may ask?
