If I were you, I wouldn't look for a 01+ GS300/GS430 for only 8000 walk out. 01+ 2GS with good condition plus decent milleage should run about 10k IMO. If you can find a 2GS with more than 139k for an 01, I would def pass that offer. Mind your cost to fix this and that after buying the car, considering it has high milleage.

and about your gold color, actually it's my favourite 2GS color. it looks nice and clean. and amazingly, it shines alot longer compared to other color IMO. I have a gold 2GS also. I will send u some pics..

You think 139k is high mileage? I thought it was a good checkpoint considering by now it most likely has had the timing belt and other 90k services done and it has another good 40 k until the next..

I think your GS is more of a light gold than a beige. Maybe it's just the lighting.

be patient I bought my 01 gs430 with 105k in nov of 08 for $8100 Car was perfect and even had mark levinson silver on black and tanabe medallion exhaust. i still have it and i have 135k.

In the end if you didn't get that gut check feeling that said "yeah, I have to have this car", then the car isn't for you. Wait until you see the one you really want.
