I am taking the plunge and buying another set of these because the first pair did not work right. I have listed them below. Having issues with sellers NOT providing install instruction manualsl. Please help!

Please show some install pics. I am knowledgeable with electronics and installation but without diagrams or anything it makes this job impossible. I took them to multiple import garages and they were CLUELESS as to how these are supposed to work. I get the some nonsense answer from every seller. "We cannot provide installation instructions that are 100% accurate for models so we won't". Bunch of losers that won't help or stand behind the product they're selling. I'll pick them up if I have some idea on how the correct way to insert the plug and play/resistors with the right slots.

I went with the JDMs below. They don't seem to have the resistors like the other nightmare tail lights I had before.

I just dont understand how one would need instructions to install a tail light

I can do one for you.

Remove 2 10mm screws on the inner side of tail light

Remove 2 8mm screws behind carpet inside trunk near quarter panel

Tail light will come off

Unplug harness and box up old tails

Install new tail lights

plug in harness

mount tail lights

reverse with steps one and two.

Done.

Default understand

The ones that come with the resistors are impossible. I posted a pic of them and everyone on the forums agreed that they were too tricky to tackle.

wheres the pic. I would like to see.

I dont think everyone on the forum saw it cause I didnt Gotta remember, the right people need to see it. Most people online are ignorant, thats why they're searching online. I can name a few people on here that could probably tackle it with no problem. I personally dont see how a product would be sold with that kind of problem; other then maybe they left something out of the kit.

The resistors already wired to the taillights so it should be plug n play right ? I'm looking for a set too...

PhamxOC,

Can you post some pics here so that I and the OP can look at it ? How did you do your ? plug n play ? and you bought it from the same seller too ?

Andy

the one on the tail lights themselves have the resistors on them already but the ones on the trunk need to be installed separately

Am I missing something here? How is anything about these impossible? Installing a Llama as your brake lights is impossible. There shouldn't be anything difficult about these, they really are plug and play. As already mentioned by other members. I think everything has been covered in this thread but if you have a more specific problem please post it up.

i have a set on my car too, it is a plug and play unit from ebay. it came with no instructions, just remove old unit and plug it back in. it works fine. i remember i had to do something to the "taillight out" unit near the trunk, i found that info from searching in here.

I don't have the pic anymore and I have already trashed the tail lights because they were useless. Here is the original thread.
