Default Permanently Off DRL

I have a US spec imported GS300 with Daytime Running Lights. I dont need this feature and wanted to switch it off.

Is there a specific fuse that can be unplugged for this feature?

By doing so will there be any undesirable side effect like low beam or high beam also being disabled?

Thanks

"Use your high beams whenever possible in open country or dark city streets, as long as it is not illegal. Do not blind other drivers with your high beam headlights. Dim your lights when necessary. If another driver does not dim his/her lights:"

Hmm...not necessary? guess you don't drive at night on rural 2lane roads. Or must have very good night vision.

Nice citation.
High beam are illegal in the city area I meant. Because you blind everyone that's what I meant. But that was good to know.

The referenced DIY doesn't work on my 99 GS300 either... now I can't press the metal bar back in place either...
