Funny, but true. I don't think the question was fully thought out or maybe the intent wasn't commuicated.

The widest wheels you can safely run without modifications to the wheel wells are f20X9 et42, r20X10 et44. My offset might be a little of off but if you speak with a wheel reseller like D2Autosports they can get you headed in the right direction.

^NOT TRUE

I ran a 10.5J + 39 last year with no modifications to the rear, and it looked like it still needed a spacer

Actually, true. The OP mentioned he wanted to not make any fender modification. If you're running tires that are in spec (25.75 - 26.15 inches overall diamter) with the appropriate aspect ratio you're at the limit at 10. You can go up to a 10.5 rear if you run tires smaller than spec (stretched).

Just ordered some Works, can't wait! My question is, if my fronts are rolled and rears shaved will i need to do any fender flaring or pulling if I'm running:

19x9.5/10.5 +22??
225/35 f and 265/30 r

Incorrect 17" OEM size is only 235/45R17 which is only 25.33 OD. and the OEM 16" is 26.16. So with that being said if you go with a 285/25R20 and its 25.61 OD however is a pretty expensive size compared to 275/30. But 275/30 on a 10.5 you can't even call a stretch on 10.5" It really depends on what brand you go with. some fit wider than others.

should be fine, no pulling required but i would use a skinnier tire like a 235/35 or 245/35.

You may need a minor roll in the front but it depends on how low you are. You should be fine

Front 245/40R18 / Rear 275/35R18

The sidewall height of both the tire heights are the same

245/40 = 40% of 245mm = 110mm
275/35 = 35% of 275mm = 96mm

so technically 4mm shorter which is nothing.. if you want to be more exact you can go 235/40 which sidewall height should be 94mm. But 245's fit better on 9"

Thanks for the detailed explanation. 245 in front will require more of a roll I suppose? 235 would be a stretch? Thanks yakuza

Bingo. The 245 will pretty much sit square on the tire. the 235 will only be a very minor stretch

XXR 526
20x9 offset +35 and
+15 offset 20x11

Donz Montanas
20x8.5 +20 and
20x10 +25

My car is going to a bodyshop soon...can't afford wheels now but these are the two that I narrow down to. Without pulling fenders (only shaving) what tire size can I get away with(I don't mind stretched tires either)? I'll be on BC extreme drop coilovers, I'm trying to get fender to lip ratio. Thanks in advance!!!
