Will this combo fit on a 2nd gen GS430? Or will major modifications to the rear wheel wells need to be performed?

Sizes: 17 x 9 / 17 x 10.5
http://www.finishlinewheels.com/spec...%29+Gun+Metal/

With these tires. 315/35R17

I just wanna ask... Why 17's?

And if you're looking for cheap wheels that'll look good on the GS why not just go with VarrStoen?

I'm going to be drag racing this car, it will be getting an engine/trans swap to a turbo'd LSx.
I want the wheels to look somewhat stock, not too heavy, yet stuff a wide tire under the rear.
Drag radials and cheater slicks don't come in 20" sizes

Its hard to tell because that website does not tell you the offsets of the wheels. From what I remember the 94-04 Mustang GT's take a lower offset (around 25-30). So with that being said you will most likely need to roll the fenders. According to the BFG catalog that tire size fits from 11"-12". You probably could mount it on that rim but would be really tough and definitely would require fender work to fit. Their next size down is 274/40R17 which is the same height and firts rims from 9"-11" which would be more ideal and less fender work.

Searching I found this.

FRONT WHEEL OFFSET: 24
REAR WHEEL OFFSET: 27

I was hoping to go a little wider than what I have on my LS1 Firebird Formula as I'm hoping to push ~650rwhp in this car. Though you're right there is a 275 series tire. I was hoping to get a 305 series even if it required wheel well work as this is going to be a track car.

Gotcha.. Well you could possibly go with some nice 18's and just roll the fenders.

I'm sure you could work with 18's a bit too..

I don't think you're gonna be able to fit a 315 in the rear fender without cutting the rear fenders. If you wanna run a 315 on a 10.5 you'll need a higher offset like a +40. But you're gonna need to shave the rear fenders regardless

I'm looking to get some 18x9.5 +30 front and 18x10.5 rear. I have searched high and low and I can't get a straight answer as to wether or not these will fit my 2GS.

If anybody knows, what type of fender work will need to be done?

I kind of have some tire sizes in mind.
I was thinking 225 40 18 front and 255 40 18 rear. Any thoughts?

im running 18x9 fronts +15 with a 235/40 and 18x10.5 rear +20 with a 275/35 and i shaved my rears and rolled my fronts and im tucking tire and ive got no rubbing, so with some minor fender work your should be fine with a 255 in the back.

XXR 521

Front - 20x8.5 +32
Rear - 20x10.5 +30

From the numbers these look like they would fit with no issues but I'm going to be using 40mm RCAs for the front and probably the same for the rear. Any thoughts guys?

Be careful on the wheels with a flat face. I recently bought a set of bbs lm reps with a +35 front offset (which is supposed to clear) but since the face of the wheel is flat, the rim was hitting the caliper. I needed to buy a 10 mm spacer and as a result, I will need to shave my fenders.

Btw this is on my 3GS but offsets are pretty similar

I've seen alot of peeps running the 521s. Haven't heard of any fitment issues. I'm going to run some Varrstoens though.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking!

I've seen a few run 521s but I honestly want some a lil more flush. I was gonna go with the 526s but I would need to much work plus I dunno how NYC streets would be on those rims.
