Two problems!
Hey guys. I decided to take a look under my car today and see if there were any leaks or anything because for some reason it smells like sweet Toyota Type T-IV under the hood of my car. I just changed the fluid but there arent any leaks. When i was under the car i noticed alot of negative camber wear on all four of my tires. Is this normal for -2* camber? Should i got back and get it realigned or is this to the point where i should get some RCA's? I just got an alignment after i put my coilovers on in july and the tires have already worn pretty bad.
The second issue i am having is my extremely low idle and twice in the past week i've had my car stall on me at a red light. I've cleaned the MAF, Throttle Body, Air filter, New spark plugs oil and tranny fluid just changed. Right now as it sits my apexi neo reads an idle of about 420-480rpms. Any ideas of what it can be? Also im getting my timing belt, tensioner, water pump etc. replaced this week.
Heres some pics of the problems...
Thanks again. I hope my car gets healthy soon, it's seems like she's been a little fatigued lately.

Assuming you did everything correctly as stated above, I would change next is the PCV, the one on the driver's side. Bad PCV will cause hesistation, low idle and such.
Since you got a K&N, hopefully you didn't oil it too much as it can mess up your MAF.

As far as i know low idle issue hasn't been solved yet. People blamed TPS, ECU, the entire throttle body and even engine mounts for it. Replacing engine mounts will ease it as far as vibration goes but obviously won't fix it. I know because I just replaced them.
Mine isn't as low and it never stalled on me. To ease it I just drive with my lights on, which raises your idle rpm.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't remember what my toe is but i'll have the shop take a look at it. Im hoping that doing the timing belt and water pump service will help the low idle. I'll keep you guys posted!
Did you remove the TB for cleaning or just cleaned the front? Because after I removed the TB on mines and gave it a full spray and brush down my idle went up. And looks like you got ripped off on your alignment job so go back because you toe is off

Thanks for the help man! I'm going back to the shop and requesting them to have it realigned. I'm just glad that it's not negative camber wear. As for the low idle, i took off and cleaned the throttle body thoroughly so that's not it. Maybe the PCV valve like GS4 fiend said?
I have the low idle problem too but it hasnt stalled out yet and doesnt idle that low; once the car completely warms up it starts idling rough.
Ive have heard the same thing.....it's eaither the throttle body, positive crankcase venhilation or MAF air meter.
I plan on removing the t/b to clean it and changing the PCV. Is a new gasket required after removing the t/b?
How much is the PCV and difficulty to replace?

the low idle was starting to get annoying. I was looking through the service records and noticed that the PVC valve was actually replaced at 60k, could it go bad that quickly? Also were would the best place to purchase one be? Sewell or Carson?

Is this the right part? Only 5$ but shipping is $15. Might just take a trip to LA soon.
