I can't say that I would. I like my 03 GS430, but the car is getting old. When I get rid of my current GS I probably wont buy another 2nd Gen GS.

I like change. So I'd probably end up buying something else.

Probably not.
Car has never driven straight. 02 GS430, 100,000 miles. New tires, New shocks, New outer tie rods, new ball joints, multiple alignments and car still pulls to the left. No one can diagnose it right. What's left, replace my whole suspension? Handling is terrible, tracking straight on roads is terrible. Mark Levinson amp blew ($600) door lock actuator and window regulator, plus blown tweeter and rear door speaker. Every time it rains, the passenger side floor gets soaked. In addition to a check engine light calling for a new catalytic converter. Car has never been in an accident and has been taken care of.
I would most likely get an LS430. Seems like Lexus put all of the time, money and quality in the flagship.

I have my 98 GS3 for over 4 years now. I will probably keep it for another 4-5 years as there is only 1 other "used" car that I would buy as the GS has spoilt me.

A 2008 Jaguar XF 3.0S Turbo Diesel. Just look at the car and specs:

Power 275bhp @ 4000rpm
Torque 442 lb ft @ 2000rpm
Transmission Six-speed auto
Fuel 42mpg (combined cycle) = around 35 US mpg
Acceleration 0-60mph: 5.9 sec
Top speed 155mph

I will just have to wait around 4 years before it becomes affordable as my car is now worth just €1,000 (nobody wants a 12 year old 3.0 petrol with 120k on it!!)

^^high performance diesels nowadays... tons of torque... but I would never go back to diesel, no matter how high the fuel price (today equivalent of $7/gallon here).

Damn bro, are you sure it was never in an accident
I still have the factory tie rod , ball joints and everything on the car the thing i replaced over the years was ,brakes, rotors, air filter, trans fluid, (1) fod light buld, i will need a new ML sub.
Oh i need a new cat converter.
I think you just bought the wrong GS, it happen to me when i bought my first GS back in 04 it was an 02 SD GS300 with 38k it was grey with BlK and that was the best POS i have ever bought.
I had the car for 45 days and the car was at the dealer for 31 days i only drove it for 13 days.
I took the car back to the dealer and got my money back

If i was in your shoes i will sell it or trade it for another one or maybe something more reliable.
GL bro

I bought it with 41,000 miles on it and the carfax showed no accident. I got it from an independent used car dealer. Maybe it was?

I won't sell it now because it is paid off

I'm on my second 400...

I liked the mods more on my black one..body kit, led tails, black interior, etc...

but I just love the diamond white pearl color more..plus i have mods that i didn't do on the black like exhaust, wood wheel, etc.

I'll proly keep this for another 3-4yrs but who knows. I do have my eyes on the new LS..freakn thing is a sexy beast!

I'd really like a GS with bluetooth / handsfree -- which pushes me to a 3rd gen GS but I am not sold on the build quality (compared to 2nd gen)

Also I need them to depreciate / age more

I've owned a GS300, GS400, and GS430. I love this car.
