Default Fair price for a 2003 Sport Design?

Hey guys....I have a question.....I found a car that i would like to purchase "2003 Sport Design with saddle interior with 90k miles" but they are asking way above KBB. I know KBB is a guide and not the bible but $13,800 listing price compared to $12,265 ......is that too far off? Isn't this supposed to be a buyers market? I know the car is rare but doesn't seem like anyone has wanted to budge on the price for these......
here are some pics of the one i want to buy....

thanks for your input......

Looks at edmunds and NADA as well.

Do they have maintenance records and have they done the timing belt? All this affects price

Car looks great!!!!

Love the color combo.

IMHO the price seems to be on the high side.

Def grill them about maintenance records Timing Belt, Ball Joints, ect

Good luck!

They have excellent maintenance records and it is a one owner car "the carfax says it has 25 service records and just had new tires put on" but have not done the timing belt, ball joints, etc....what does the 90k maintenance usually run and what is involved?

I think more around 11.5 - 12k would be a good price.

at dealer auctions these cars arent going over 10k 2003 and lower
06 are just at about 20

Cash is king big merle.

You're fortunate to be in MD b/c you can have a big search area (lots of GS in the mid-atlantic) within a days' drive.

Unless you love and need the saddle interior and think it's worth at least 1.5k in value to you, wait. Honestly, try to find one or two more GS with SD and see what your market is telling you in terms of price.

I think 14k is way high. For example, there was a 1998 GS400 perfect shape with 40k miles for 13.8k and a 2002 GS430 with 80k miles for 11k not too long ago in my area.

My point is that a gs300 with 110k miles for 13.8k is not a good price at all. At 14k I would want a special car FWIW (low miles, big engine, etc)

its got 90k
but like without the maintance etc your looking at spending another 1500 right when you get if you go take it to the dealership for the Lower ball joints and the waterpump timing etc
