Default WOW HELP me PLEASE!! Seats.

As i tried to remove my front seats on my gs300 i took out the back bolts first, then i tried to unscrew the very front screw that has the red marking on it. Which i realize now was a big mistake, its making that side that i loosened stay still while the other side moves forward or backwards, whichever way i choose to move it.

WHAT DO I DO???

also i still have yet to find a guide on how to remove the front seats... The seat is ruined now becuase i followed some noobs directions saying "just take off all bolts, unplug the wires, and pull out"

Please help me guys... i cant even drive the car with my seat being so far forward...

The bolt that is marked with red , at the very front of the rail nearing the pedals. Its the only bolt up front that is the first you see. When you move the seat forward or back, they spin accordingly on their own.

You unscrewed the wrong thing, You probably unscrewed the nut for the seat adjustment bolt. The guy who told you that the seat comes right out after you remove 4 bolts was right, you probably just got at the wrong bolt. I've taken out my seats before and it was easy 4 bolts and a few wires to unclip. Take a picture so that we can see what you did.

i cant take a pic right now my phone is broken, but nothing is physically obvious damage wise . But the side of the seat that i tried to unscrew it is now "skipping" and only the other side is moving forward or back while the side i messed with is staying still.

maybe if i remove my seat it will help, which i still cant figure out how to do <.<

Ive unscrewed two bolt on the right side of the back bottom of the seat, on the rail, but the other side i could only find one bolt...after i took off the plastic peice there was just a bolt hole . no bolt. im way too confused this really sucks. Anyone have a detailed description on how to take the seats out?

I have no clue what you are unscrewing there should be 4 bolts 2 in the back under plastic covers and 2 in the front under covers.

i think i found them, are they goldish/ bronze bolts? underneath the plastic that is bas ically on the carpet?

anyways it definitely was the seat adjuster bolt that i loosened earlier, becuase when i tighten it the seat moves bck and loosen it goes forward. But it still isnt working right from after i loosened it, its like off the same cycle as the other side, any way i can fix it?

Dont know how you would fix the seat adjuster screw. Take the seat out and see whats going on. As far as the bolts for seat removal yes they are gold, should be a 14mm, and yes they are on the carpet.

i took it out... still couldnt find what i originally lost down the crack of doom, and now i have a broken side... just because i loosened the adjuster screw a little bit... how does that even ****ing make sense? It is the adjuster screw!! It shouldnt make it not work anymore?!?!!?

My problem:The left side of my driver seat wont move forward while the right side moves forward, the left side just stays still while the other side is moving forward or backwards, happened instantly after i loosened it just like half a turn!!! WOW someone help me please lol this is really ****ty.

OmG - I'm sorry but this thread has got me bustin' up.. I'm not really sure how to fix the problem either. But it's four bolts to remove the seat.

Well, that doesn't help anyone that has already messed up lol, my mom did this originally, and is still dealing with the seat that does back up correctly.
