Most DIY people use some type of suction (i.e. turkey baster).

bleed the brakes at least 3 times overall and it should be good. i dont think you can bleed the master cylinder. at least i did not.

ya how many miles you got on your car? it may just be that your master cylinder is going bad
i had to replace mine. I havent drove the car yet but the brake pedal feels better. i guess if u want to bleed the master just open one of the lines and pump the fluid out but i dont think its going to help if you have bled alot through the calipers and nothing is happening

i dont think its going bad it was working perfectly before i took out all 4 calipers to clean and paint them, its not like it needs to get bled out of nowhere. im thinking air is in the system that bleeding just the calipers isnt going to cut it.

you can bleed the m/c.

1) have someone pump the brakes 4-5 times, and hold.
2) open the first line at the m/c, allow the fluid to leak, and tighten

repeat steps 2-3 times per line
