Does anyone have any pics of GS300s with 18"inch or 17"inch rims on a stock suspension?

yeah... I would love to have a lowered car, but it just isn't practical. I used to have a lowered IS300... But it was sooo unpractical and annoying.
I notice a lot of you guys are from Florida and Cali! I'm from Toronto Canada...
So 4 months of the year we have some pretty fierce snow. The rest of the year... we have to deal with roads that are filled with cracks and pot holes.
I think I might just go with 17"inch rims... That way the wheel diameter will be close to stock.
I have a set of OEM lexus IS300 17"inch rims... But they aer for 215-45-17 tires. Would it be safe to put 225 width tires on them, or is that just not safe?

Isn't 225 the recommended width for stock IS wheels anyways? The stock 17" 2GS wheels are 17x8 and recommended tire spec is 235/45/17. But to answer your question, you should be fine going from 215 to 225. I don't think adding 10mm to the width of the tire will greatly change any handling characteristics of the car or affect how it should mount onto the wheel. If anything, the slightly added bulge will probably aid in protecting the lip of the wheel a bit more.

I say go for it! Put the 18" on don't settle for 17's because of small little details. i have put 20" on my car with stock setup (no drop) and it looks awesome. you can always put adjustable height coil overs in the future to vary the height during the different seasons when $$ allow

Excuse my lack of car lingo... but as far as i know it allows you to adjust the 'dampening' from a computer INSIDE your car!!!
Does that mean I can adjust the height the car with the touch of a button? Or does that mean I can only adjust how mushy the suspension is?

But I'd have to research it more...
I'm not to sure if these types of setups do to your suspension... I don't want to wear out tires/components excessively fast.
