A few folks (including myself) have used the Sun Automotive Hyper Ground System or TYPE"MR"Hyper Voltage System (http://www.sunautomobile.com/sunPerformance.html) with good results. Not sure about the eBay brand you're looking at, but I do know I had possitive results using the product I purchased from www.l-tunedparts.com.

im not familiar with a "voltage" system. but back when I had my acura legend, the forum was popular with folks upgrading their negative wiring with higher gauge wiring along with copper/gold plated ends. feedback was positive for the folks who did the upgrade, for instance have you ever felt the car bog a bit when you roll down the windows or if the bass starts bumping for those with aftermarket subs & you see your interior lights dim. its suppose to help with small issues like that. im pretty sure this is something similar without the need of changing every wire.

If you are experiencing lag when you hit the gas, you may have a battery issue in and of itself, not just a ground. It certainly doesn't hurt to upgrade them from factory, especially in an older vehicle if it's not on a regular maintenance schedule. If you have aftermarket components for audio or lighting, you (or a reputable installer) should have done these upgrades already. The factory wiring is capable of just that - factory spec requirements. Anything else is an upgrade.

Spend $40 on wires, quality connectors/termination, and you'll be fine.

This is almost as laughable as that 12v outlet plug-in that improves gas mileage.

Nice idea but not worth the price like mentioned.
Always replace ground and battery cables every 5-8 years , having a cap in the car helps with fluctuations the battery can't flatten . Put that all together and it is much better for much less.

I personally just clean all your grounding point and add thicker wires to them and to the chassis ..I'm a believer in re grounding those point on older vehicle over time the spade connector and copper within the wiring develop oxidation that oxidation built up resistance in the vehicle ground point which cause resistance in current flow and lends to hesitation and some bogging or cel . on my 240sx i re did ever ground point on the car afterward it idle so smooth to red line it wasn't funny and both my music and headlight stop dimming
afterward too..

Replacing the Alternator/Battery feed, Battery/Chassis ground, and Engine/Chassis ground with larger gauge wiring.

The most basic and functional upgrade for cars with oxidized ground straps, or any additional electrical loads like a big stereo.
