Thinking about jumping on this Lexus right here and paying the cash for it. Only thing that's turning me off is the 220+ miles on it. What're y'alls opinions?

I'ld test drive the ***** out of it, like for hours both on highway and street, unlike some folks who drives for 5 minutes and their hearts are content enought to dishout thousands of bucks. good luck

Rich: this is what the guy has posted along with a few pics. It's Black w/ black interior and from the pics it still looks good, but here's what he has listed with it;

-220+ MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES BUT THESE BABIES CAN REACH 500K+ MILES IN STYLE, INSURANCE APPRAISED THIS AT 9 GRAND SO NO WHINING THERE.
-CURRENTLY TAGGED AND INSPECTED
-ICE COLD A/C
-5 CD CHANGER WITH THE STOCK 10' SUB
-CURRENT OIL CHANGE+RECENTLY HAD THE WATER PUMP,TIMING BELT AND HEAD GASKET REPLACED LESS THAN A YEAR AGO.
-HAD A REAR BUMPER BENDER RECENTLY, UNFIXED THOUGH THE CAR STILL LOOKS AND RUNS SEXY.
-TAKEOFF IS A LITTLE SLUGGISH BUT UNBEATABLE ON THE HIGHWAY.

Looks...ok. Since you're in the Dallas area, I would have Jeff Tsai check it out if anything.

Well I don't want you guys to flatter the car and you know beat around the bush. I just want to know if you think I should get it. Like is it worth getting? I can get repairs done cheap for whatever needs to be done. I got the hookup on all that.. Just want some info really and what you alls straight opinions on it are. Shall I wait for a better deal? Or test drive it for a few hours and just decide from that?

drive it "COLD" AND "HOT".

When "cold" - start it up and take off, if the transmission is slipping - NO GOOD. Means he didn't change the tranny fluid often (30,000 miles).

When it's "hot" (cars fully warmed up), test it by taking off at red lights. If the transmission slips any gears there, 1st to 4th, NO GOOD.

Lexus' are known for transmission problems because the owners never maintain the tranny.

GL.

We don't know if you should buy it as we have not seen the car in person. It's up too you to get it check out and do a proper test drive.

He is, but I'm sure he would have time to take a look at it for about an hour or so.
