Default Need suggestions for tires with low noise

Tried searching but didn't come up with anything great. I have some cheap no-name brand tires on my GS400. What sucks is how loud the tires are. I'm looking for low-cost, low noise tires. Any suggestions? My GS400 is completely stock, from the suspension to the rims. If you have any suggestions or can point me to sites with more insight, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I was just going to suggest that to him @ the ziex 912... I have them on my 430. Great tires for a nice and reasonable cost... You cannot go wrong...

Interesting....I was just looking at Ziex 912's. Cheapest I've seen them go for around my area is $78 per tire. Rich, how's the road noise quality? Difference between the 912's and the stock tires or previous tires you've owned?

Handling isn't my concern right now. I'm aiming for ride quality (soft, comfortable) and low road noise.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

They are pretty quiet to tell you the truth... and $78 is a steal man. I paid like $95 per tire shipped to me and I thought that was good. I will need a set of 16's (225/55/16) soon though. Being that you looking around, can you find out what price they go for? PM me if you find out... Thanks!

Thanks for the help again everyone. Just bought the Falken Ziex 912's for my GS400. Glad to see they're V rated tires as well. Low noise! Definitely a night and day difference in noise compared to the cheap tires I had. Here's the website I bought the tires from. Not sure if they ship, but if they do, tell them Eric with the silver GS400 sent you I paid $364 for all 4 tires, mounted and balanced. I was in and out of there within 35 minutes Great guys. Make sure you talk to Henry or John.

Great prices on the Falkens! I've been doing some searching for good prices and these are the best I've seen. $96 for a 245/35/20...great price!
