Default Is my OEM stance normal?

Hey guys I've noticed that when I look at some members on here's vehicles, the rear end is pretty high off compared to my car.

Some members have even said that they can fit 4 fingers between the tire and the rear quarter panel.

In my case, I can only fit 2 fingers for the back wheel, and for the front it seems I can fit my whole fist. (Which Ive heard is normal for OEM springs)

Is my rear end lower than normal? Ive seen other people throw on lowering springs and their rear wheel gap seems to be just about the same as mine...
I was thinking of getting lowering springs but Im not sure if the rear would be any lower than it is now.

Here's a pic sorry for the phone pic, its kind of dark to see the difference between the tire and wheel well
BTW tire size is 245/45/17

any input would be great

It look like you have a audio system back there as well. That will also give you the extra drop.

Take the wheel off and look for any aftermarket markings on the springs.

ok just was making sure. i have been looking for some tein s. springs and saw some pics with other other members using them with the oem 17s and the front obviously looks lower but the rear looks to have the same wheel gap as i already do

ive seen the car on the lift and it has standard springs
and all ive got in the trunk is one 10 inch sub in a box. weighs about 20-25 lbs at most. so i doubt that makes a difference

Yes, it's normal. The height of the rear fenders is lower than the height of the front fenders so it gives the illusion that the front is taller than the rear.

its supposed to have 235's on there.

245/45 are wider, but also have a taller sidewall (decreasing clearance) than 235/45

Yeah it's normal, my stock GS300 has exactly the same stance. The front is a lil bit higher than the rear.

As for the tires, should be 235/45 as someone already stated.

that is quite weird b/c the back of my GS300 actually has a bigger wheel gap and looks higher than the front. i have stock 16s... what's going on here? i did change my shocks to bilstein HDs but that shouldn't affect it.....?????

Also most cars are this way. egular driving will usually cause the rear to compress more over time when you take off while driving weight shifts to the back you also will have passengers more weight. This over time would usually cause this. Plus the rear springs are softer than front springs.

ive seen some members with a 4x4 stance when their cars are on stock rims and stock suspension.
I dunno. Just thought my rear sagged more than other people.

I KNOW other members got lowering springs and their rear is 2 inches from the tire and it just seems my rear is that low too...

guess im buggin then
