Sounds like the ABS pump/Master Cylinder problem too me. Very common problem with the 98-01.

Just in case your unit is bad, I have a 2003 GS300 brake unit for sale

It's almost $2000 from the dealer, I'm letting this one go for $550

Actually not, when I was still car shopping, the 2
2001 GS430's had that buzzing and brake pedal vibrating.

It maybe 2002 and up they solved the problem

im buying jefftsai brake assembly, figured the noise is coming from somewhere in that area, just replace the whole thing, and get on to better things like mods...

i have yet to see or hear someone besides u report a 2001+ with these symptons.ESPECIALLY since they re-engineered the brake booster in the 2001+ units. last TSB on this i saw was for the 2000. soooo yeah i think i can safely saw it was the 2001+ units (although since im NOT 100% on this, i will admit i could be wrong. i just dont recall anyone but you saying a 2001 + had this issue....preferably the brake pedal vibrating as some people could mistake the servo buzzing to be this) no EN_VY not referring to you...since u did just say something bout this i didn't want u to think i was talking bout u

So did the new assembly fix your buzzing noise and dash lights? I'm having the same issues with my 98 GS
