Default Do YOU have SPC UCA issues?

I was going to buy these today but in doing a search to see feedback on them I'm seeing more issues than anything else. Granted this could entirely be because users aren't making random posts to say how great they are and only posting when they have issues with them but I'd still rather ask them spend the money first.

The two issues I've seen are ride height being raised because of taller ball joint bushings and the sqaure design hitting the body on rough surfaces/bumps. I'm sure there are more than a handful of people using these so it can't be all bad but beings that I'm on springs I can't really compensate my ride height if it does increase and if they do rub I'd rather trim the excess metal now than after installation.

Thanks for your input.

EDIT: Upon thinking about this, the UCA shouldn't affect ride height anyway.

i got em and i think they hit the inside of the fender on hard bumps but thats when your lowered at least 2 inches or more. most who are lowered have to do fender mods anyway.

Well...how low are you? Cuz most guys with the SPC UCA + really lowered seemed to have issues with it hitting.

I sitting at stock height. I'll let you know if I hear anything next week after I install my new setup... should be 1.2 to 1.5 inches lower.

Well the hole will only let the balljoint poke out. Dunno how much more clearance you will get with that mod.

i'm on df's with spc uca and i'm not hitting but we'll see when i install my coils when they come in. i'm curious as well. i read the thread about rca's and spc arms causing clearance issue which would really suck because i'm looking to do the ls400 caliper upgrade and already have the calipers and rca's, i just need a set of wheels to clear them -_- but back to the topic, i do like the adjustability and quality of the spc uca's. they really tightened up my front end a lot and made the most difference in ride quality thus far.

I've had them for about six months, Im dropped on Daizens. I didnt notice any issues with the ride, on hard bumps they do knock a bit but its not bad.
