or you can extend the wires and bolt them on the cavitie in the trunk using heat transfer paste ,that what i did cause they do get hot to the point of burning
so the chassis act like a heat sink minimizing heat

so the outers are GTG?? as long as you relocate the resistor to the body so it dissipate heat better?

 

ive had the Ebay tails for almost 2 years, but not those pattern, plus the inner ones, no prob yet, ya they get hot, hasnt done any damage yet, where i mounted the resistors? wow you guys might laugh....... heck i just threw the bunddle of wires and resistor down the opening, ya it somewhat dangles i guess behind my rear bumber, 2 years still goin

 

my girlfriend got me the sonar LED's a couple yrs ago from ebay...no resistors...they work fine and look great.

 

Noticed the V-LEDS carry mounting brackets.

 

guess ill be buying it soon hopefully... n seal them first before installing :]

 

ok purchased... ill report back with pics of the quality n stuff

 

I have them running right now and they work and look great... Both inners and outers... Been had them on for over a year too!
