Default exterior roof moldings.

Ok so i searched and couldnt find out how the moldings that run from the front windshield over the roof to the rear windshield come off, ive tried but didnt want to break anything. Im wondering if anybody has removed thiers and can give some insight on how to pull these off. anything helps, im asking because im fixing my car from a hail storm.

Mine is buckling on the drivers side. Looks like there are little arrow like clips all along the molding.. don't know if this helps.

there are clips at every so many inches...just pull up on them...slowly and a bit at a time.

These things are not cheap.. like $250ish per side, before CL disconts at Sewell. They are painted so I guess that is why.
Take pics!!

Haha nah man I wouldn't dare to ruin my car, I had some hail damage and got it repaired I just need to buy a few more parts the roof moldings being one of them. I'm either gonna try to fix the moldings or spend the 500 or so to get new ones.

Once I finish with getting my car back up to par I'll post some new pics of my new look.

well i tried to get one off earlier and i got most of it, enough to see how they stay down. Not sure if the years make a difference but in mine a 99 there are metal clips attached to the car and the molding is squeezed onto it, i didnt get to take a pic but ill try tomorrow so you guys can see what i mean.
