Thumbs down 2001 Clear Tail lights go in....

Well I honestly tried and got the lights half way apart when I noticed that the orange was MOLDED into the red and COULD NOT BE REMOVED!!!!. I epoxy'd them shut and installed them.

Sorry guys, NO LUCK.

also for you guys clearing out the 98's, you don't have to worry about totally sealing the tail lights. There are ports all around the light and is purposely designed to be free flowing.

Yeah, I kinda figured that's how the tail lights were when I first examined them a while back...oh well, at least now, we know for sure.

you could try to put some silicon on the outside, that might waterproof it a little better.

YOU COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING!!!! I almost DESTROYD my lights. I tried the heat gun method. It works well, just need patience.

Now why haven't you posted in your thread, Manaray's next mod????

I DID post about the tail lights...a while ago...I said that when I examined them, that I was 99.99% sure that the yellow was molded into the red...you should have read my thread!

As for the other thread, no need to post...everyone already knows I have them sitting here...still haven't installed them yet (just cuz I can't get a good schedule with my installer)...
