Default For those who changed their own timing belt

I have a question. When you changed your timing belt, did you take the valve cover off and and mess with the VVI cam pulley? Or did you set timing marks at 60 deg. BTDC and just swap the belt out? This is on a 1999 GS300.

Your insight would be greatly appreciated!!!
