Question for the air ride guys (Air hose???)
I don't expect to many reponses but hopefully I'm wrong.
Have any of you guys routed your air line through the cabin? If so: Do you have any pics What size lines Where did you route it through the firewall How did you route it through to the front bags I have an idea of how I would do it if I choose to but I would like to hear from anyone that actually has done it. |
Most guys have them running thru the left side of on the bottom of the car.
|
By bottom you mean not in the cabin right? I'm looking for anyone who has actually ran the lines through the cabin.
|
I did sir! :D I ran both sides as if I were running speaker wire. On the passenger side I ran it through a boot I found:
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...R/DSC00258.jpg running 1/2" hydraulic hose with is about an 1" thick... on driver side I found a another boot and ran it through there. sorry no pic... just get a knife and slice just enough to push it through. I went to big on this pic as you can see. the bend is very aggressive though. I recommend you find a way to put an add on hydraulic or steel braided hose in order to make that bend... as for routing, I removed the rear seat and tucked under the side panels all the way to the front... |
those rubber boots are a pain.
|
cool, have any pics of the hose in the front wheel wells? I want to see where you drilled it from and how it's routed
|
Air lines can get kinked really easy when you try and run them inside the car. I'm running 1/2" lines on everything.

^^^ Your on Tein CS right? U didn't enjoy your air?

Run the lines under the car from the trunk.
It can follow the fuel and brake line and be bundled with them safely. No need to be inside the car , plus it makes it have to bend more curved inside. |

Those of you who have the Dakota Digital Air Meters, where did you guys mount them at? I had mine below the ignition key area but now I'm thinking of relocating it inside my ashtray since it fits perfect witout the meters housing.

mounted in the
ashtray |
Any pics of them mounted inside the ashtray? I'm wondering how am I going to do it to secure there.
