WOW ! AIT Fenders ! New pics !

Hey guys, well, almost done with my car...sorta haha. My car just came back from the body shop, pretty much all done, except little here and there stuff but I needed the car back.

I just installed the AIT Fenders and the Greddy front lip. WOW ! The AIT Fender Quality is pretty dayam nice. I was VERY Surprised, as I've been in the car industry a very long time and I know most Body kit pieces are flimsy and don't fit well. The AIT Fenders are different, very strong, durable and not much fitment issues (as in gaps).

It took my Body shop guy about 1 1/2 weeks to finish it, not for the faint hearted. A couple of custom stuff had to be done..and a TON of labor hrs making sure all the gaps lined up to everything. In the end...I'd probably do it again hahah. I had the body shop fill in the face gap, and just cut out the front vents, I still have to put mesh.

My body shop guy, matched the paint I would say 99%. No problems at all, which is very hard to do on lexus's. The car looks alot longer in the front for some reason, but you be the judge..enjoy..

o also...I added the Greddy front lip hahaha...:woohoo:

looks great!! all you need is some l-tuned side skirts and your set!

looks nice but you need to add SS and a rear lip or bumper to complete the look of the car with those fenders. And for some reason the entire front looks off from the rest of the car color wise!!

hey guys thanks, yeah i was going to put the shine auto side but I have to mold them on, to make them work, and I didnt want to mold anything because I daily drive the car and im sure the side will crack. Yeah I was looking at the car color. It's weird I checked it night and day time, it matches like i said 99% in person. Its the color code of alpine silver from lexus. In person, the color matches 99% but in the pics when I just realized it it looks a bit different so i don't know. I did also take in consideration that the car is 10 years old and the previous owner let it sitting outside for many years so, the car's paint is definetly not up to a fresh paint. Later, I plan on reshooting the whole car again any way because of all the nicks and dents. Take care

I would have to disagree with this statement. In this pic, the front lip color is off and your new fender's color looks off too from the rest of the car.
I do like the fender though

white and silver are hard to color match

swat1727 08-20-09 07:26 PM

that actually look really nice!

tmf2004 08-20-09 07:27 PM

Looks pretty good Chris.. The color doesn't look right but you can also put little blinker lights inside for turn signals...:thumbup:
