Default Replaced both driver side doors

Just replaced both driver side doors because of an accident. The doors are adjustable, up, down and side to side. Not so much inwards and outwards. Especially with the hinge bolts that attach to the frame of the car.
Question: If someone has doors that are sagging, how is the door latch mechanism engaging the door lock striker to keep the door closed or being able to close the door if it's sagging and out of alignment?

Not 100% I understand the question. There's still a fair amount of tolerance. As long as it's not so far off that it can't engage the striker, it will still latch. And if it's too far out of alignment, then it just won't.

The striker is also slightly adjustable, up/down and in/out.

Default Kinda related, kinda not

Rather than start a new thread I figure perhaps a piggyback on this would be ok.

So if a door is horizontally and vertically aligned but has been slightly warped inward as in toward the inside of the car (like the top photo in post 17) by a dent can that cause the door open/closed sensor to think the door is not closed?

My car was hit prior to me owning it and the door appears perfectly aligned but the car thinks the door is not closed completely. Yet it is. It's not a bad dent at all but the previous owner said the issue began the day the door got hit.
I tried cleaning, lubing the areas where the things come together with the WD40 trick but it did not solve the issue. So before I swap out parts I was wondering if a slightly warped door could mean no part swap will solve it.

Thoughts?
