Lightbulb TTE Kit Pics

Wazzz up CL dudes,
I was wondering if anyone had any pics of this kit. I am looking at buying this kit, but CEC only shows one angle of this kit. I know it is a minor kit, not a full blown custom type. This is what I am looking for. Simple but clean, but I can't find pics. I see what the front lip looks like, but I would like to see the rear insert as well. Also, does anyone have feedback on this kit? Good? Bad? I just want to smooth out the bottom. My Lexus is black, so if anyone has pics, please post. Thanks,

Rock

I've got the TTE front lip and rear deck spoiler. I've also had the rear lip on my car before deciding against it.

look at my private gallery to see some pics

Default TTE Rear kit

The TTE Rear bumper kit is only the "cut-out" finishing pieces. You need to cut your stock bumper to fit the quad exhaust, and then use these fillers to "finish" the cut-out.

There are two types of TTE rear "bottoms". A TTE cutout pair (which covers just the holes where you cut the quads) , and a TTE rear deck insert which pretty much covers the whole bottom part of your bumper which I think is nice.

Check the pics out in my gallery - it's all i collect heh heh

CEC? They're expensive. I go there all the time in fact my girl got me my Rear deck from them.

I'd go Carson if possible - Steve Ganz is cheaper and less cocky then the CEC guys

Steve Ganz is not "cheaper" first of all.

CEC, IMO, is the most expansive place to buy parts (BMW and Lexus). Their staffs answer my question every time with a timely manner, not cocky at all in my case.

Steve Ganz offers a great service with a less expansive price.

Racing Aristo-

Where can you get TTE parts cheaper than Steve?

He's got the front lip @ 299, rear deck @ 249 and rear lip @ 199. All of those prices are at least $50.00 cheaper than CEC.

CEC is the most expensive because they are the only sole distributors of any TTE product in the US. Steve gets them with his discount and only marks it up a bit higher.

I'm curious and would be surprised to see a lower price than Steve. Can you let us know where you can find a cheaper price then Steve? I'll buy a new set if you can get me that info...

And CEC, I didn't say they were impolite. I just said they were cocky. They know they got the sole distributorship and they act like it; no deals, no discounts, and no dealing. Less "cocky" shops are willing to negotiate. Get a price quote from them, you'll see what I mean..

PS: I've dealt with them, My uncle's full lorinser on his S500 kit was installed @ CEC

NYMY,

I've dealt with them before also. They were willing to pricematch the price I presented and I'm one happy customer.

Steve Ganz does offer a great great price on TTE kit. You might still be able to find some other place that offers lower price but for the service Steve Ganz provides and no hassle, I'd still go with Steve.

To think, if you pay extra $50~$100 and there is something wrong w/the lip, you can just take it back to Steve where as if this thing happens and the guy lives in, says, Texas, you have to pay the shipping back and lots more trouble.

Default My dealings with CEC

I've dealt with CEC before and they have been both helpful and polite. I got my TTE parts from my Lexus Dealer...who got them through CEC and passed the discount on to me.

Wow that's great Racing Aristo-

I guess you are a better negotiator than I am heh heh.

If you mind my asking though, what did you get from CEC?

I'm there all the time cuz my friends all have bimmers and they schnitzered their cars and CEC is the only place they'd go get stuff (too many fake knockoffs around in Monterey Park (my friends are all chinese) but man, they just charge waaaay too much.

They wanted 4.3G's for the whole TTE kit for my car. front lip, rear deck, rear insert, exhaust parts (2.5K and 1.8K for labor)...gulp that was waaay too much. 1.8K for LABOR!!!! But they are the best so I guess it's ok.

Anyway,if I wanted parts quick though,I'd go CEC cuz they got it and Steve has to order sometimes. However, if i were to wait and get it painted elsewhere, I'd go Steve cuz I can use the difference for paint. And CEC you only go to them if you want paint and install.

Take it easy

Ryan

I got the ACS parts from CEC, pedals, front lips, and etc. Like you said, CEC seems to be the only authorized ACS dealer in So Cal. My friend got a "great" deal on his ACS type III rims, not from CEC. Later he found out 2 out of 4 rims are made in Mexico!!!!

I was laughing my *** off. In order to avoid this kind of things, I'd rather pay premium.
