Default Fog lights suddenly stopped working. Not the fuse or bulbs!?’

Hope everyone is doing good! My fog lights just suddenly stopped working on my 99 GS4. They both stopped at the same time so I figured it wasn’t the bulbs but tried that anyway and still nothing. Fuse is good as well. What else can I check? Thanks in advance

Most likely the switch on the steering column. They can go bad and need to be replaced. It is a pretty easy repair.

It is just inside where you turn on the headlights on the steering column. It rotates on the shaft. You need to replace the entire switch assembly that turns on the headlights and operates the turn signals. You may be able to turn the fog light portion of the switch off and on quickly and see the fog lights light momentarily.

believe it or not I was just playing with the switch where you turn the lights on and as I pushed it in more toward the steering column the lights started to work. Does that mean it’s broken or is it known to come loose? Now it’s working perfect (knock on wood)
