I'd like to know too, I'm debating this myslef on my old school 90 LS..to me it makes the car look very 'old people-ish' although my car is more suited for the older generation.

Not sure if I want to keep it as stock as possible incase I sell it or whatever.

Sorry futuregs that is the only way that I know how to take off pinstrips is to use a hair dryer then goo gone or another way is to use vegtable oil if you think goo gone is too strong.. After all the glue is gone wash and wax then you should be good to go!

Hope that helps!

I was worried about removing mine. Went to the bodyshop my GF had used before w/ her NSX to get mine removed and the guy just came out with a little heat gun, got it started and pulled it off.

Came off very easily and cleanly - no residue issues at all. Felt kind of stupid getting someone else to do that afterward (at least he didn't charge me).

Bottom line - heat it up and get it started at the end, it should come right off assuming it's the same kind of stripe the Lexus dealer put on mine.

Can I ask why you want to remove...???

I actually like the pinsrtipe on my GS....

There are so many GS drivers in the Dallas area that its almost frieghtining....

Most GS do not seem to have them, I guess newer models maybe. But in casual conversation most tell me they really like it over theres without....

I think it makes the GS look more sporty, but thats just my opinion...

Peace...
