how do you remove the front bumper?

Default how do you remove the front bumper?

ok well mainly just the fender lining thing? im having trouble removing those plugs or watever that hold the fender lining together.

Yooo. I thought we already went over this!

If your trying to get the plugs out you need to buy a "Door Panel Removal Tool" for $7-$10 from any auto store.

You just stick the flat end under, and pry it off. You have to buy a new set of those plug screws though, well most of them. Some of them like to brake or loose its grooves when pryed.

I didnt ahve any on my bumper? only on my sideskirts.

hah yea i know. You told me how to remove the bumper but i got stuck on the fender liner.

since we're on the topic, where do you buy more of those bumper tap things? i always end up breaking like half of them

pretty sure lexus and toyota dealers have them hah.. prolly cost a pretty penny

those clips are like 1dollar each. try not to break them so many.

you can go to autozone/kragen and buy the domestic size ones which are bigger,but they work. They will just be harder to tkae out when the time comes.

i priced them last week at my local dealer they are like 3 bucks a clip....although sewell might have them for a 1 or so cheaper!

i got some from autozone...will try and find the part # when i go home. i bought some made for a GM and they fit PERFECTLY and looked good but when i went to remove them again they were really hard to get back out and the heads bend so you ruin them getting them back out!

goddam what a pain in the ****... but i got the bumper removed..

now im thinking... should i just send in the headlights and get the LS460 projectors professionally installed? im losing hope cuz im so lazy.. lol

Yeah i used the GM ones too. The guy working warned me they would be harder to pull back out since they are slightly larger. I think they all break no matter what don't they? Just part of those screws' designs.
