Hi, i have one question about my hu. I have stock navi on my 00 GS3, i want to change the navi to an aftermarket one. i found some information on bananags site. i think i just need to reverse all the step, and i think all i need is the radio trim, a/c climate control. and the radio harness. but i have one question about the radio harness, can i use those 2 plug adapter harness on ebay? will it work with the stock pioneer amp?

there is a guy who did this....dang what was his name? he removed the oem nav from his 2001 and replaced it with a non nav climate control and a headunit and i think that was it....
i cant find his post right now and i just cleared my pm box so i dunno his name either

ME! lol......i replaced the factory nav with a pioneer avic d3 but I used aftermarket amps as well.

non navi climate control is a simple plug and play..got mine from a junkyard for $25.oo hell of a deal I know....

so it is plug and play right? all i need is the bracket for the radio and the climate control. also the harness for the new hu?

yep! plug and play...super easy install...the kit you buy from carson will have the new bracket...took me about 8 minutes for the entire radio install

that center console/shifter/car is so over cluttered....

yeah it is...the laptop stand comes out of the car when I am not using it for work and normally the remote and my palm doesnt sit there..but I do use the tom tom that is on the dash as well as the the nav in the dash.

its cool...as long as it works for what you need thats all that matters
im to OCD for that much stuff just lying around but i wouldnt ever use it so who knows

so i have been searching for the harness going to the back or the unit. i don't know which one should i buy here is some pic.
