Default someone please help a noob.

hello all
just a few questions (i know i should have searched)
1. i want to lower the car. what is my best/safest bet for a nice drop without busting my wallet...im talking something that gets the job done, but isnt super fancy, farthest drop possible. stock gs4 has too much space between wheel and fender
2. why wont the car shift into 2nd gear (in manual mode) when it first starts it just beeps, is this a protection because the engine is too cold? if so, someone explain the science behind this.
3. who else loves the beeps like traction control and the brake lol...it makes me feel like iam in a freaking spy mobile
austin- 2000gs4 platinum

remember iam a busboy making min wage so i dont have tons of cash haha..

thanks in advance guys, psy

DF210 is pretty nice for the money...but if you want something better you can step up and get Tein S/S coilovers with EFDC...it a bit pricey ...BTW welcome to the CL

First off welcome to CL... Since yor on a budget i would go with a set of springs like the Tanabes or a Spring strut combo if the car is up in milage. But you can also pick up a used set of coilovers in the classified section. many great quality parts in their. GL...

1.tanable Df springs would be good.
2. is it when your driving? if so, your going to fast for it to be in 2nd so it protects the tranny by not shifting down.
3. mine doesn't beep??

Where are you from in pa?

WELCOME AUSTIN!
