Heres an idea
Well, given that you'd have to modify the transponder in the key to be a transmitter instead of a chip and the verification in the car to be a receiver, it's not going to be an easy option. Of course, if you've already installed a remote start like some of us, you could quite easily use the switch to lock in the "on" position once the car has started. Still going to require some serious modification, though, because you need to ensure it can be safely shut off and not accidentally left in the "on" position to kill the battery.

someone did do it to a supra using the module from the infiniti's. You can buy the kit for about 500 bucks, i think i remember it taking a couple other small mods for a lex though. Just search youtube for supra push button start or something and youll find it.
Take a look if it can be done in SC/IS why not GS

i emailed the company today requesting more info for us , ill update ya sooon...
He got back to me really fast .....Here is what he said ....
Thanks for the email. I've been flooded with requests to adapt this to many other vehicles, but it currently takes me 2-3 weeks to build each one just for the Supra. I am looking at a way to mass produce these so I can spend time on adapting them to other makes. This unit could definately be adapted to a GS but I would need to see some basic information (ignition wiring diagrams, button placement, if the GS can be driven without the key cylinder in place, if there are special alarm/fobs that I need to disable, etc).
I had considered offering a cheaper barebones kit where the user would have to figure out the wiring. The kits are going for $549 for Supra members, complete units, pretty much plug and play. The barebones kit wouldn't contain the infiniti key-in-fob nor a custom fit button nor a plug-n-play ignition harness. You would have to provide your own button and use small fobs that I provide. You would have to wire up your relays and source a turbo-timer harness or splice your own ignition harness. Also, you would have to figure out the ignition wiring coupling all your own (which you can do with an ohm-meter and moving the key to all positions). I would provide documents showing how the Supra is wired for reference and provide installation support. This is the only way currently that I could get these out quicker.
Pass the message along, see if there is interest. I could probably get the barebones kit down to $295-$390, but it would provide all the functionality. This would be the cheapest fully supported kit out there espcially coming from a DIY'er like myself. Most kits don't incorporate special features, I can add them depending on complexity.
