Just picked up a GS300 as a daily driver.
Don't have any pics yet as I won't actually be in possession of the car until tomorrow. I'm excited to finally own a GS (The wife and I have wanted one for a few years.) I don't plan on going crazy modding it — that's what the Miata is for. The reason we picked up the GS was because that car got a little too extreme to drive every day...especially with a new baby in the house.
So now the stable is:
2003 GS300 Sport Design - black on black with nav
1999 Miata - 220whp supercharged fun/track car.
2006 RX330 - wife's car - black on black
The GS is actually going to be our most frequently driven vehicle now (much to the chagrin of most of you here, I'm sure) to keep the miles off the other 2. When the tires wear out I'll probably be able to convince the wife that nicer wheels would be a good idea and I'll have to sneak a subtle right height "adjustment" in there as well
Otherwise - it'll remain stock. (I may be kidding myself on this. We'll see.)
One question. I don't think it has the factory grille because the one on the car is all chrome and the SD cars had black chrome, from what I can tell. What's a good source for an original or used SD grille? (Other than the obvious eBay).

not a sd grill but a brand new chrome one. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2223 you can always look around the 2gs classifieds section here on the forum for a used one. welcome to the club can't wait to see the pics and enjoy!

Welcome. Me and you have very similar stables and my Lexus is also the millage mule of the group. It has not stopped me from applying regular upgrades and it probobly won't stop you either.

I think I'm going to stick to aesthetic mods all the way. If I do anything else it might be an axle-back exhaust and open intake. I can't let myself go further than that (and the wife will probably rein me in as well since I have the Miata as my go-fast toy.)
I'll post pics eventually. It's just a stock 2GS Sport Design and everyone knows what that looks like :-P

Put some rims and tint, for the price of wheels right now its better to get rims and tires and just tires...Tint to keep the car cool and protect the inside. Then get some springs
