That manual page is not even for the transmission in your car assuming you have a 2nd gen GS.

Just so we are clear, what year car do you have?

LOL...why are you posting in the 2nd Gen GS page?

You are 3rd Gen!

No wonder everything looked completely wrong!

I was just searching instead of starting a new thread. Didn't realize this was only for 2nd gen. :/

Well....you did get the wrong shift solenoid apparently!

For example, on 2nd gen the S3 solenoid is 3-way #2 Solenoid C which is different than yours.

I remember it being confusing for my transmission as well. Too bad you bought the wrong part although now you know why it didn't help!

Put the car you have in your signature. For example, mine says 2005 GS300 Gold.

I have a 99LS with 224K miles, P0763 came on twice over last few months, both times after hours of highway driving. The code disappeared by itself after sitting overnight.
Could it be caused by slightly overfilled transmission?

No. Just change the shift solenoid.

I have been suffering with the P0763 (shift solenoid C) error with my car for a few months now. The VSC and TCS lights are not on but my car does not downshift properly and when I go to pass a car it never revs past 5k rpm, no matter what. Its very annoying and was wondering if this would be a fix for my issue. Thanks

if you're getting code 0763 then yes that's the issue and replacing the part is the fix.
