Hi, I am trying to find an emblem for the steering wheel and came accross this site: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-181273634.htm but it's only for people in NZ. Does anyone know where else to get this? I looked around here but couldn't find any info.

 

first you might need to sand down a bit on the L on your current steering wheel to make it fit properly, and I've seen something like that on ebay for like $50 not worth it.

i got one from ebay before and it looks aweful as you said it stick out way too much and yes def. not worth the price and it's not anything like this, they just have the emblem with no back to it on ebay...

 

I wouldnt stick anything on the airbag

ok i think it will look nice but as my friend phillygs3 said I wouldnt stick anything on the airbag lol if the airbag blow ill remember this acciedent all my life each time i look to the mirror
but if somebody saw my face after the acciedent did he will know that a lexus logo (L) or a loser logo LOL

 

The ones that come stock with the emblems I suppose carry the same risk. I have it on there now with aviation grade adhesive so. I wouldn't mind having the "L" in my head I just hope it doesn't go through all the way but if it did at least I'll die with class right? heh, seeing lexus and loser in the same sentence just doesn't look right...

 

For some reason...that emblem looks like it belongs on a mesh grill. The emblem is actually mounted onto a raised plate.

That emblem looks like its the same as the newer Lexus (LS,GS, RX). Those emblems are huge.

 

not necessarily. when the stock airbag deploys it hinges away from you. nothing comes shooting toward you.
