Guys, I was looking for a DIY throttle body cleaning post but only found one for the gs400 and 430, is it the same, I have a 98 gs300.

I doubt its the same, I believe the throttle body is in a different location on the 2jz. But the concept should be the same - disconnect whatever hoses/cables from the TB, remove the four bolts, remove TB, clean it and reinstall. Inspect TB gasket once you are at it, and replace if necessary.
