Guys, so I walked into a tools store to grab Loctite but they ran out so I went to the next available store which stocked some and I loudly said wrf it's cheaper here. Anywy there was a guy standing next to the shelf doing his shopping and when he heard and saw me taking the Loctite, he asked what are you using it for? I said for wheel studs. He then said are you nuts, studs should not have any Loctite on them. Loctites are clue.

So what is the truth about using loctites, yay or nay?

Nay. Loctite isn't for everything. Most people wouldn't, but if you looked in a factory service manual it tells you what threaded parts need what product applied. Wheel studs don't in any way need Loctite.

Then torque them properly.

I do torque them to 90ft because I have aftermarket wheels. They seem to took no effort to take off a week after using a breaker bar. That to me is kinda lose.

Does Loctite add pressure to the studs which help in breaking?

Don't put Loctite on your wheel studs. Torque them properly. 100km later, retorque them then leave them alone. And yes, lug nuts are not supposed to be seized on. Of course 90lb-ft is going to be effortless with a breaker bar, that's the point of a breaker bar.
