modify 1998 tail lights
bake em at 150 degrees for bout 10mins..pull em out..use something to pry open the lens..take off the amber.. put lens back on and reheat at 150 degrees again and make sure that the lens is back on there tight..

i recently did this mod. i baked at 200 for 45-55 minutes (after trying 175 for 30 minutes) and that still was not good enough. i ended up separating the lens, but i did not get a clean separation. the glue was not reusable and i had to use my own. there is some evidence of this. on top of that my lenses seem to be tinted pink where the clear is. probably just messing with my eyes. i am new to gs's, but this is far from my first rodeo.
i was careful and still had mixed results.
