I think they're just long truck exhaust tips. Something like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/polis...spagenameZWDVW

Might be loud without the muffler though. Maybe you can have them cut shorter and welded to the stock mufflers.

Wow those tips on that SC are nice. I've always wanted to do tips like these, but I can't see them looking right if you were weld them onto the stock exhaust. You would need to delete the mufflers to make them look right.

Default mufflers

Went to a friends shop and this is what he did for me. Cut off the stock muffllers and installed dynomax 2 1/4 side in opposit side out. 4" truck tips.
The mufflers are straight through and smaller size. Sounds super deep tone.

Was done before rear kit was installed..

with kit on and dropped down. So far the tips been hitting things..

Well with an advice from another member on here, I forgot his username and it has been a long time, I had asked him for some tips because he did it to his first then I started, it took a long whole day of work of sanding sanding sanding elbow grease polish more sanding polish 3 other friends help then pizza and beer afterward for the accomplishments. I pretty much sanded 90% of the canister not just that front face. I forgot what grit I started with but I think it was like 500, 800, 1000, 2000, lots of 2000.

i don't run mufflers, put a turn down on the stock flange and it sounds mean. you have to angle them outward but not into the tire, pushing the noise out from under the car. does not resonate at all. if you put a straight pipe in place of the muffler, you will get a TON of noise inside the car. I know it doesn't make sense, but its true. then i re mounted the stock tips (non working) just because the car looked funny without them. slight loss of mpg. about 2 in city.

yeah i saw your thread, those were mounted on to stock mufflers, so it seems as if i might need a 11-12 inch long exhaust tip for it to fit nicely on the rear bumper. wow 100% did no think it would be a foot long exhaust tip, lol.
