Check your fuse box. It's on the driver side. It should say "fog lights" or something of the sort.

You mean the ballasts are going bad? The bulbs are going out? Extremely rare it would be both of either of those at once. Sounds like an install or quality issue. What kind of kits are you using?

I've had this problem before, my left headlight kept doing that. It killed at least 6 ballasts, I then return them and did not want to get another pair from the seller. Instead, I got myself some normal ballasts by Denso, specifically made for Toyota/Lexus cars.

These are not cheap plug-n-play ebay kits. Some wire cutting is required, since these ballasts are made for D2S bulbs, so you would need to cut the D2S socket and attach the 9006 HID bulb directly.

I've had HID's for 4 years since, without any problems at all.

Are you flashing your HID fogs on and off over and over. If so, this will cause damage to the ballast.

that might be it, i also heard that when you leave your lights on "auto" its uses different amps and can damage lights? any how i think i might just buy the yellow fogs, im tired of replacing the ballast.

The lights don't use different amperage on auto, they are either on or off, there is no in between on fogs. What kind of hid's are you buying? Quality stuff or cheap stuff? Also, where are you mounting them? The ballasts aren't meant to get soaked with water. Being near the lower portion of the car and not mounted in a good spot could be getting the ballast wet.

my theory is that he is getting his ballast wet every time he washes the car and when the water evaporates the vapors are killing his ballast. This is especially true with cheap kits.

from what i know most of the aftermarket ballaster is some what water proof.
unless you go into the water it won't be a problem. it could be cheap hid kit blowing off or you got short some where. but from what i know they should of blow fuse first then ballast. im thinking 90% the hid kit is going bad.
