Default Question about clear side markers

I found a pair of clear sides for my gs but the seller told me that it's for a 1997 GS since the part number incorporates GS97. Would clear sides for a 97' work for our 2GS?

TIA

The '97 GS300 was the first generation. The 2GS debuted in '98.

well no ****...but his question was whether or not they'd work on the 2GS.

If you look at the two in comparison, our 2GS has them in the front, and the 1GS has them in the rear...

from what i can tell from the few low quality pics, it doesnt seem as though it would work, i'd investigate it further though just in case.
