and who said eurolines arent VIP? a good guy on the east coast has them on order and i can only expect his car will be looking really nice after he's done

rominl has something about knock-off's in his siggy, i think it still might be there. anyway, just be patient and save for what you really want.

You will regret getting some cheap knockoffs. I say just rough it out and save for the real deals.. its not like you drive some junker that you will be emberassed riding on stocks..

wow!, thats expensive for me, 2700 without tires?!?, i knew all of the work wheels are quality but expensive.
......... By the way these wheels were'nt cheap at all........ close to 2700 with shipping...... and thats without rubber

with $2000 you can get a quality set of used wheels with tires. That was my budget and I get me a set of AME Shallen CX within my budget. It just takes a little time, patience, and research.

You can easily find a set of wheels with tires under 2k that would be considered vip. Look into rbwheels.com, or memoryfab.com, they sell used wheels. Vipstylecars.com/forums has a wheels section in their classifieds, and there are also a bunch of vendors on that site who sell wheels all the time.

go for the gusto and pick up a set of lowenharts.. they make some really nice vip wheels and unless you live in baltimore you should be straight with the durability n' all.
and that pic that gs430v8 posted look like some vip wheels to me... but nothing is more annoying to me than when i pull up to a nice car with nice wheels then get a little closer and realize that they are cheap knock offs... it kinda devalues the whole car to me...
n fact just 2 weeks ago this nice *** brand spankin new infiniti m45 rolls up with black tint 21ish looking chrome wheels and parks... when it drove by it looked hella sick but parked i walked by it and noticed that for one the wheels were like 21x7 with some small *** cheap plastic tires and the wheels themselves looked like they had been sprayed with a plastic shiny fake metal coating to make them look shiny from a distance.. they were some cheezy *** sounding brand like akuza or something and the car had not been dropped, looked like it had a 2 inch lift infact and it had these small like seriously small factory rotors that couldn't have been even been big enough to stop a neon let alone this car... all in all this car looked like it was worth about $16 grand and it still had temp tags on a new m45 that had to cost at least 45k i really wanted to tell that dude that he was doing his car an injustice by putting those cheap knock offs on his car and that he should immediately take them back and get a better set asap. i bet the factory ones looked more classy than the fake ones.

2k for a set of wheels are you serious... i paid 1,500 for each of mine... haha that is funny... no wonder they don't last you for more than 3 months... this is my 5th season (warm months) of riding on these lowenharts and they are still better looking than most fake ones. i've probably got about 75k miles on my lowenharts now... brand new tires though.
