The latest mod everyone; i decided that my Lexy wasn't showing her true personality through her stock set of teefs...(not to mention the douchebag who cut me off on the highway, driving 70mph with gravel in an uncovered low trailer :banghead:

So, i gave her a little something so that she can really express how she feels about being one of the finest vehicles on the road today :bigok:

Looks great but wheres the L? She can't be the finest vehicle on the road if she doesn't have the L emblem ;):D.

haha i know, it was a sacrifice to lose the emblem, i'm working on a fix for it, possibly black chrome? :D

no no no, this is a complete replacement assembly. I think that ebay overlay stuff looks terrible.

Cool, I never seen that type before, it almost looks oem without the emblem's spot. Do you know who makes it?

actually, ill be 100% honest, i grabbed it on ebay haha. i know, i hate to admit i threw a cheap ebay part on the car but damn it looks good, and after the grille i put on my ML a while back from ebay (that one costing 160, mainly because of the huge star) i was very pleased as well...

only cost me about 40 bucks for the lex too

the mercedez grill is horrendous ... and the Lexus grill is coo .. like a stock 98+ minus the badging but the clumps of chrome in the corner .. kinda throws it off

Thats the one thing I don't care for with alot of the DIY chrome grills and the aftermarket chrome grills I've seen. I did the DIY on mine but took the slow labor-intensive route that kept everything but the front of the slats black; very subtle but looks nice. Same with the OP's grill although the big spots and the lack of an emblem is a little shocking to my eyes.

It would look better if it didn't have those chrome chunks on each side like someone mentioned.

its actually the same style grille that mercedes uses on all of their new ml's, but chrome.
