I made a little video to show my progress
I did some little stuff to the outside of my car and finally got the wheels on. It was a really nice day so me and 2 buddys went out and shot some footage of my car rolling. I have alot of parts just sitting around that I gathered over the winter like a fabulous grill and some coilovers. I'm still waiting on my kit and visors to show up too. This is just my little phase 1 video, when the kit is on and painted i'll film a sweet video for sure. Enjoy!

They look badass when they are standing still but my fender gap is....
(no i'm not driving around with unpainted mirrors that just the test fit)
My fender gap is so bad I can fit a GS in my GS!!
If anyone rememebers this......... :-D
And finally, the reason my GS isn't getting done fast enough. Everyone asks me if the big red gas can is my backup plan.
That is so far from being a chevy motor in there it is not even funny... seriously.
I'm done with the merecedes for now, i'm just putting a pause on it. Total focus on the GS. I changed the interior from tan to black. I'm going to take some pic's tommorrow cause my back doors are done but the front aren't, so if I open all the doors you get the "before and after" look as I like to call it (or my friends who have the ride in the car call refer to it as the "unfinished interior" look.
The only mods I have is these clusters of 5 white LED's in my DRLs. It's the 2nd pair i've put in there.... they start off white.... then turn blue! It looks OK but I REALLY wish it was white. I have a few different bulbs I want to try. I really don't like the blue. The LED tail lights are the more expensive ebay ones, they have the resistor things on the backs so the car doesn't think the tail lights are burnt out. I put amber 24 LED clusters in the tails but if you watch the vid when i'm turning its A) not very bright and B) blinks really fast because it doesn't have a resistor so the car thinks one is burned out. I will probably just use amber stealth bulbs to solve the problem. I've got the chrome trunk bar (when I bought a chrome trunk bar for my LS400 they sent me a GS one instead and I held onto it knowing one day i'd have a 2nd gen GS and sure enough it happened!) I tried the DIY grill, it turn out ok. See none of you can see it from close enough to see that it actually isn't ok and it looks like *** BUT I have a Fabulous grill i'm tweaking a little bit and that will be installed eventually. Thats all I got for now! I'll post more pics as it devolps. I wanted one of these cars for like....5 years, I had a 1st gen GS for 3 years, lets just say.... i've had alot of time to think about how I wanted to mod it, so it should turn out pretty sweet.... as you can clearly see from my mercedes grill and bull gaurd conversion.... ;P
EDIT: Mod's don't need to freak out about the Top Hat shout out, I got hooked up!! First set in the country baby!! Besides, Top Hat just got signed up as vendors on Club Lexus. Talk to Kim if you have any questions, she knows whatsup.[/QUOTE]
