Silly wiper blade removal question
I've always used refills for the GS and now for the first time in years I am going to replace them with Bosch Icon blades.
Question: How do I remove the stock blades? Does it pry off with a screw driver, snap on snap off ? Help

The wiper arm has a U-shaped hook on the end, flip them up off the windshield. Then slide the wiper blade down. Hope that makes sense, kinda hard to describe without pics. If anybody has pics that would be helpful
if my wiper arm was an original lexus, i would continue using the refills. youll notice aftermarket blades, the rubber turns brown within a month or so and streaking will occur. but if you decide to go aftermarket, the michelin curved blades looks and performs great in rainy days.
I too have the ICON's...just bought them about 2 mos. ago and love them...they are like a ridgeless design like the Mercedes wipers; oh...and they wipe good too.lol No brown color or streaking thus far btw!

Icons are great. Got them on my GS400. Lift up the arms, rotate the blade assembly backwards and it slips off the arm with a bit of effort. The arm has a U-shaped end that holds the blade assembly. The Icons snap right on to the arms. Dont forget the little covers that come with the Icons to hide the end of the arm where it attaches. Makes it look very clean.
