Sucks when you don't have a garage bro.. I miss mine TERRIBLY!!! .... Soon I'll be back in a home with a garage.. Til then I'm taking it to my mechanic. Very good guy. I'm fortunate to have him. Charges me terribly cheap for expensive jobs and actually does it RIGHT. I'm taking the car in sometime next week to get the cats, gaskets, o2 sensors, and all the screws+bolts replaced on the exhaust. New tune up all the way... He said $250.. I thought to myself ....But I'll give him like $500. I know he's doing it because I been going to him for Years for inspection and such things. But that's really low for that kinda job. I'll give him a nice tip cuz I know he'll do it like if it was his own car. Great guy man.

^^^ Oh I have a garage but it has become a place for storage and I have no intentions of moving the crap in there just to replace the sensors I just use my other car in the meantime until it gets warm outside and I lose the laziness.

The story of my life........ I try to keep the garage open tho.. It's PRICELESS!! But now I don't have one.. I understand tho bro. These cars are very easy to procrastinate with as tho they never really beak down to push you against the wall on repairs.. Thank God!! ... But don't leave it for last. I'm getting my last 2 o2 sensors tomorrow. Soon as they get in, I'm taking them to get repaired. I can't wait for that CEL to disappear for a few years man I really can't

B1S1=89465-30430 = Denso 234-4048 easiest to replace once all pipes up to throttle body are removed

B1S2=89465-30440 = Denso 234-4626 best access from under wheel well. you can see from above but easier to take out from below.

B2S1=89465-30470 = Denso 234-4630 not yet done

B2S2=89465-30450 =Denso 234-4603 under passenger seat. connector is at center console and rubber grommet is under pasenger floormat and carpet

I just uploaded one more pic. Will someone confirm i have identified all 4 sensors correctly. I will include oem part no.s tomorrow night or Saturday based on when amazon prime comes through.

234 4048 55.55
234 4626 60.03

234 4630 $65.58
234 4603 $58.09

all 4 sensors from amazon 239.25

bank 2 sensor 2 very easy to get. Access from below passenger side door
bank 2 sensor 1 hardest to get. between firewall and headers

bank 1 sensor 1 very easy to get to. as soon box cleaner assembly direct access.
bank 1 sensor 2 is too far down so has be accessed from under car . you can see from top just cant remove from top.

234 4048 55.55

234 4630 $65.58
234 4603 $58.09

all 4 sensors from amazon 239.25

feel free to confirm my most recent pic has identified each sensor correctly.

Hey bro, after replacing all 4 o2 sensors did they CEL turn back on? How did everything go after replacing them?

I'm asking because I just got mine replaced this past Thursday. But it came back on. Code PO125. After returning to the shop, my guy said that based on the machine the only thing he can ASSURE is not working is the sensor in B1 S1. He said the other 3 are reading besides that one. He also told me that IT HAPPENS. That o2 sensors do come out defective. I ordered mine off eBay. Ima go to my local Advance Auto right now and get the same Denso o2 sensor for a higher price and return the car to the shop tomorrow. My guy said he'll replace it out free :-) !!! I'll give em a tip tho. I hope that's all it was and that the sensor reads properly afterwards with no CEL light.

Thought I'd share my o2 sensor issue with everyone on this thread.

I need to replace Bank 1 Sensor 1 on my 01 GS430. How do you recommend I get to the sensor and clip? I jacked up the car and could barely get to it. I don't see how I can get a tool around the sensor, much less unclip the harness. Thanks for your help.
