Default Wheel question

Im looking to buy some wheels soon and found some that i liked. The wheels are currently on a 2008 Lexus GS300. I drive a 1998 Lexus GS300. Are the specs for aftermarket wheels reletively same for both cars??

In short if the wheels fit the 08 GS fine, will they fit the 98 GS fine, or will they look totally different.

I dont have the offset yet, but here are the specs. Wheels are staggered.

Wheels = 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3

Front wheels = 20x8.5
Rear wheels = 20x10

Tires are 245/35/20 275/30/20

The car is not lowered but i will prollly lower it with some tanabe springs.

Also how do 20" wheels ride. I dont wanna loose the smoothness/quitness of the stock GS, but i know it will suffer a little.

fronts are a little tall but if the car isnt too lowered, should work. as for stock specis, for a 20x8.5, i believe +35 is as low as u can get, for the rears, 20x10, a +43 is about there for stock before camber and before lower.

ride will suffer... but well, looks over comfort...

5x4.5 = 5x114.3

4.5inches = 114.3mm =) haha, i learned this back in the day when i was looking for rims for my honda prelude... its just that some manufactuers list in inches, some in mm...

1 inch = 25.4mm
