Default JZS International wood steering wheel

The leather on my OEM steering wheel has disintegrated at 9 o'clock with rubber exposed. I have a 2002 GS300, interior is ivory (code LEo2). My choices seem to be a used OEM wheel or a new wood wheel (a wrap such as wheelskins is too thick for my comfort, and wood inserts don't work since it is 9 o'clock that is trashed).
Searching many threads at CL it seems that the JZS International wood Aristo wheel is one of the better choices.
1) Any thoughts on something cheaper than the $600 for JZS?
2) JZS site lists beige or gray (the photos on their site look the same color to me). With an ivory interior, I assume beige is my color. Does anyone know how close this matches the US OEM air bag cover?
3) How close is the wood match for the JZS Aristo wheel and the OEM brown veneer? - the photo on the JZS site looks quite a bit darker than the OEM wood.
4) There are lots of very positive comments about Masahiro Tabata of JZS, but his site has no way to contact him - and no returns. Does anyone have an e-mail address for him?
Thanks

Do a search on wood steering wheels, there are plenty of threads with options as well as DIY wood applications.

Hmmm... not going to argue with you there either. Most of the parts he's selling for the 2GS are around 1-200% marked up in reference to the parts on the manufacturers websites or YAJ. But at the same time, not everyone has connections to people in Japan who are able to get them parts, some people don't want to share their resources, and some people are just too lazy to try finding the answers themselves.

I don't know whether or not Gill (77i9) has the time to be running around and buying/selling/shipping parts other than what he's already selling in the Classifieds. Not to mention, I can already see a lot of people asking "Hey can you find me this/What's the shipping price for that/etc" and not actually buying parts that just end up wasting his time. Most of us who have sold items in the Classifieds have already dealt with them before. He may be able to,but I'm sure he has his own priorities as well. Great guy to deal with, though.
