Default i need help plz

cant shift the gear when push the brakes, but if i use the shift lock it work runs and drive but when i put in reverse the reverse light doesnt turnon. plz help me on it thanks A lot

One of your fuses buned out. Check near near driver side fuse panel.

Really? I lent my book out to a friend who had a similar problem. I wish I could remember which fuse it was exactly.

some reason my gauge light p r n d and other are even not comming on. i actually just installed the new engine in my car do you thing any sensor may be nocked out or unpluged? i am haveing 3 problems right now, gauges lights, reverse light and shifting gears any idea?

Are your brakelights working? Not your running tail lights, but the brake lights. If they are not there is a switch on the brake pedal for them that could be broken or knocked out of adjustment. This switch also controls the shift lockout relay.

On most cars, I have not checked my Lex, it is mounted so the swingarm on the brake pedal touches it when the brake pedal is all the way up. Again, I have not looked at my Lex specifically. Are your brake lights working?
