Question Anyone experience these problems?

Well my locks stopped working, searched and found out the acutators need to be replace. That’s one solved but recently in 1 week everything started going down hill.
My auto/off/on head lights don’t turn off automatically, that was Monday (have no answer for that?? anyone ever have these symptoms?

My steering doesn’t go back up or inwards when I turn off the car the wheel does not move when I turn on the car(I am guessing that something has to be replaced or something needs to be relubed in there, read that somewhere on here, that was on Tuesday morning)

Later on that night I try to start the car wont start it clicked and tried to turn over but no juice , recharged battery then it started, idk wth was that because I have a 5 month old battery.

Then Wednesday morning car starts then my Low fuel warning starts BLINKING my comp . Says I have 0 cruising range, and low on fuel but I have half a tank of gas. I let car stay on a bit to warm up, then the power/snow wont appear on the dash when I put them in those position.
I’m getting worried so I let it warm up a bit. Then restart everything, try to rev it a bit then the rpm rev up to about 2k and slowly, slowly goes down to bellow 500 never had that happen, and the power/snow modes still wont show up.

Car is sitting in drive way guessing some wiring problems or something went bad in the wires. When I get home ill try to reset the ecu to see if anything changes if no then I am taking it to my mechanic, Il post a reply if resetting the ecu fixes some of the problems or my mechanic finds the problem ill post up the solution I just wanted to ask you guys 1st because my questions tend get answered every time.

Thanx alot guys for looking, idk how much i would pay everytime i had a question or a problem going to a dealer or mechanic.

Could be the solar sensor on your dashboard.

Did it work before? If so, then it's the motor. The brushes are probably gone by now. If they never worked before, either it's the motor, or the feature was turned off (using a Toyota scan tool). You can have Toyota/Lexus check that for you. If they're nice enough, they wont charge you.

Later on that night I try to start the car wont start it clicked and tried to turn over but no juice , recharged battery then it started, idk wth was that because I have a 5 month old battery.
Get the battery tested. If it's fine, then you might be having the infamous starter problem. Rebuild the starter or get a new one.

Reset the ECU and see what happens. If that doesn't work, you might have to bend over and visit the dealer. Pay the $90 diagnostic fee and see what their scanner says.

Sorry I can't be much help. These are just some of the problems that occur to many members here.

Sounds like a discharged battery. Charge your battery out of the vehicle to 100%. Mine was getting very low and causing all kinds of lights and crazy things to happen. Once battery was fixed, everything was ok. Your ECU will reset when you take the battery out.

#1 sounds like your door switch is messed up....If a door is open in your car, the headlights wont turn off. Therefore you acutator problem you had, something wasnt plugged back in when you fixed it.

#2 All the other crazy stuff sounds like the battery is too weak for the car. Lexus cars dont charge that well at idle. Therefore when your stuck in traffic with everything going, your battery will drain because the alternator isnt spining fast enought to charge due to idle at roughly 500rpms.

So fix your door lock swich, and get a lexus oem battery. Dont buy cheap **** or you will pay twice for the same fix.

oh yeah as for the steering wheel. Mine wasnt working when I bought my car. So I took it apart and lubed it up like people say to do on here. didnt do me any good. So while I had it apart, I manually turned everything to get it where id like it. Strange thing is, when I was telling my buddy about it while we were driving in it......bam it started working when I went to show him. ****ed UP

I had these similar problems with my 02 gs ...but I found that I was getting small amounts of water dripping from a hole I put through the right side grommet during an amp wire install right under the battery. It was leaking water on the body control module. I fixed the hole in the grommet and now all works perfect.

Same exact problems started this week with mine. Today I turned on the car and the batter, oil and vsc lights stayed on while the cluster didnt illuminate. Did you get all these things fixed?
